Hampshire HampshireHog Posted November 21, 2023 Hampshire Share Posted November 21, 2023 Surely everyone at some point in their lives has been to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard Museum? Home of the HMS Victory and the Warrior and Mary Rose amongst other fine British Naval vessels I went when I was a youngster on a school trip so long overdue for another visit, although the ships will be exactly the same I'm sure but I'm sure the ticket lasts for the whole year so you can revisit whenever I'll leave a link to some information here if anyone is interested in visiting https://historicdockyard.co.uk/
Steve
one of my favourite places as has advanced so much over the years, been going since a kid as also went when they held the Navy Days events. My dad had bought a wooden crest plaque and was in a large jiffy bag, he went onboard HMS invincible for a look about and got pull over on the ship wanting to know what was in the jiffy bag... caused a bit of a security alert Cracking day out, they would also fly a jet over low and scared the life out of everyone..was insane noise. HMS Victory is star of the show and could spend hours looking about. The mary rose museum is cool with all the findings on show. Also, buy a ticket and it lasts for 1 year
